 We started our business in June 2005 as Ooh-la-la Gifts and More, selling handmade gifts at local craft fairs. While we enjoyed the creative process, the monotony of duplicating each design left us wondering if we could be successful at what we really love – SCRAPBOOKING AND STAMPING. In April 2006, we organized our first all day crop and found that there was a need in our area for organized, fun and educational scrapbook crops and retreats. We realized that many people shared our enthusiasm for scrapbooking and wanted to dedicate some well-deserved time to preserve their family’s memories while having fun with friends. This is truly our passion and we are so excited when we have the opportunity to share it with our customers.

Retreat and Crop Tips
- Don’t forget your PHOTOS! (sounds obvious, but it does happen)
- Comfortable clothing – the temperature of the room can not be perfect for everyone. If you tend to get cold bring a sweater, if you’re hot natured wear short sleeves.
- Bring your Tag-a-long (or a cup with a lid). Please do not have open drinks on the table where we will be scrapping.
- A cushion for your chair – you may not need it, but it is nice to have after several hours of sitting.
- ThermaCare Heat Wraps – they are wonderful to use on your shoulders and back and they stay nice and warm for 8 hours.
- Complete more pages by organizing your page layouts. Pick your photos and paper and embellishments that go with your photos or theme. Then store those supplies together and separate pages by using cardboard or cardstock. Don’t let imperfect order stop you. Simply put sticky notes with the event on your album pages for the order you want to follow, and for top loading albums you can rearrange as necessary.
- We provide snacks and drinks through out the event, but if there is a favorite snack or drink you can not live without be sure to bring it.
- Bring your camera. You will want to take pictures of your friends to remember the weekend. You will also want to take pictures of great layouts and ideas.
- Bring your favorite music CD to share with the group or your Ipod for your own listening pleasure.
- Bring a picture of yourself so that you can make a page for our Ooh-la-la Crop & Craft Scrapbook.
- Come ready to relax, have fun and make new friends!
